Big Bend

Last Spring Break, my husband and I with one son and daughter-in-law went to Big Bend. What a great trip! We all want to go back. There is so much to do and see. What a magnificent drive with the changes in the landscape.
This picture was from the first hike we took. That is my daughter-in-law in front. Needless to say, my husband and I were way back up the mountain taking the picture! My only suggestion is get yourself a walking stick. I was very jealous of the people that I saw using one.

I’m a huge fan of Big Bend also! My husband & I went camping in the Chisos basin campground a couple of years ago during Thanksgiving break. The weather was spectacular and the sights were worth every minute in the car to get there. Did you go to Terlingua (a small town a little west of the park)? There was a great little bar & grill there with live music. I hope you get a chance to go back!
